Commented on your post on X and figured it was only fair to sub here and show some support first.
As for the testing, totally fair. Just wrapped up my first season: finished 4th, won the EFL Cup (probably saved my job 🤣), made the FA Cup semis, and lost the Europa League final to a strong PSG. Had better seasons and had worse.
Goals were nicely spread across the front four: Salah 16, Diaz 13, Szobo & Gakpo 11 each.
Running a DB update now—Trent's leaving on a free at season's end. How would you tweak the tactic to handle that?
The main issue replacing Trent is his creative passing. There's no right back in the game who can replace that, so you're best off putting Connor Bradley in and trying to add a bit of creativity in midfield.
Fortunately, Liverpool have a very ready-made solution in Harvey Elliott. I think he's a great player. I would integrate Elliott alongside Gravenberch and Mac Allister, with Szoboslai and Curtis Jones rotating in.
The area I would spend big is upgrading attack and defence - you can easily upgrade on Jota or Gakpo and will have to replace Salah eventually; same for Robertson and van Dijk.
Yeah, HE is highly rated in the game for sure. He has never really hit his PA ceiling with me before though as I never thought to play him INSTEAD of Trent, he's always been an impact sub for me. Would you change his role, or would you let his Traits & Attributes dictate the way he plays that AM role?
And lastly, yeah -- Rodrygo has been brought in to replace Gakpo and Kerkez for Robertson. I really do enjoy your updates on X - makes me think about smart squad building.
Which role would you use Nunez in in this tactic, pressing forward?
Sorry, I missed this - I would suggest Complete Forward (Support) for an out-and-out forward like Nunez
Hi bud and player instructions and did you you any oi’s with this tactic?
Only the ones listed for Trent & Salah, and I delegate the Opposition Instructions to the coach with the highest attribute for Tactical Knowledge.
Ok thanks bud much appreciated and your the best
Any not and lol

Awesome, thank you for the reply.

No I would not change the role particularly.. probably Attacking Midfielder (Support) with Roam from Position for Harvey Elliott.
Rodrygo is a brilliant signing. World-class combination with Salah and massively reduces the burden when he eventually goes.
Best of luck with it!
